TOUR THE MUSEUM
One of the best ways to engage with the art on view is through a guided tour by a MOCA Cleveland educator. The Museum offers a variety of tour options to student and adult groups of all ages and backgrounds. Each season, our Education team develops new, customized tour experiences based on the changing exhibitions. These tours can be further tailored to meet your group’s special interests or needs.
MOCA Cleveland offers three main types of adult tours:
ART + ARCHITECTURE: With equal focus on the building and the exhibitions, Art & Architecture tours consider the objects and ideas on view in relation to the Museum’s innovative space. Maximum group size: 30; tour length: one hour.
DEEP DIVE: Each season, MOCA Cleveland’s Education staff identifies key themes and topics for the exhibitions on view. Groups may review these themes and select a tour based on a particular topic. With notice, the Museum Educators may be able to adapt a tour to a suggested related topic. Maximum group size: 30; tour length: one hour.
SEE + DO: Art-making is not just for kids. Half tour, half hands-on activity, these 90-minute visits allow groups to apply what they learn through creative new expressions using an array of materials and processes. Activities are designed with the interests, ages, and backgrounds of each group. Maximum group size: 20; tour length: two hours; additional fees may apply. Due to the high demand this season, we may not be able to accomodate all requests.
Visit the Student or Adult Tour pages for more information about type of tours available, or complete the tour scheduling module and a MOCA Cleveland representative will be in touch to answer your questions and arrange a visit.
