Experience The Fugees through live poetry, vinyl, art, and interactive activities celebrating music as a refuge.

At moCa, we believe art can be a place of refuge, a space to find connection, express yourself, and see your own story reflected in culture. That idea is at the heart of The Score: The Fugees, an evening inspired by the music and legacy of one of hip-hop’s most influential groups.

Hosted by Christal Joi

Expect a celebration:

• Live Poetry

• Curated Music Experience

• Fashion: Blank Easel, Clothing Truck Relic Clothing, 6th Street Vintage

• A vinyl pop-up for collectors and music lovers featuring Brittneys Record Shop

• Food Trucks: Juicy Vegan, Bistro on the Go 216, SoulPourt

The Fugees: Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, and Pras Michel, described themselves as “refugees,” reflecting their shared search for escape, sanctuary, and a place to belong. Through music, they found that refuge in one another and created a sound that continues to resonate decades later.

Come ready to listen, create, reminisce, and celebrate the music.

If The Score was the soundtrack to your youth or you're discovering the Fugees' impact on your favorite artist, we look forward to celebrating with you.
