Second Skin: In Bondage brings together contemporary art, tattoo culture, kink, self-expression, and dance in a powerful exploration of identity, belonging, and body empowerment. Inspired by the themes of artist KING COBRA's exhibition, this dynamic program invites guests into a thoughtful conversation about the ways our bodies become sites of creativity, resistance, transformation, and connection.

The evening features a panel discussion moderated by moCa Cleveland's Deputy Director and Senior Curator DJ Hellerman, featuring:

• KING COBRA, artist and creator of When You Are Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea

• Ericka Hart, acclaimed author, activist, and educator whose work centers on sexuality, gender, race, and bodily autonomy

• Phyllis "Seven" Harris, community leader and advocate for LGBTQ+ empowerment and inclusion

Following the discussion, the energy shifts from conversation to celebration as moCa transforms into an immersive dance experience. Guests are invited to stay for a House dance party featuring sets by DJ Red-i and DJ Scene, creating a vibrant atmosphere centered on connection, creativity, and collective joy.

TATTOO COMPETITION

Earlier in the day, a live tattoo competition hosted at Green Light Tattoo & Art Gallery in Cleveland's Flats district from 11AM–2PM showcases the talent and creativity of local tattoo artists inspired by themes of identity, transformation, and self-expression.
