Cyanotypes w/ Aja Joi Grant

Registration required

ONsite at moCa

moCa and Zygote Press are partnering to present a cyanotype workshop inspired by Sam Falls's artwork.

Aja Joi Grant is a Cleveland-based photographer and printmaker documenting human stories and visions. Utilizing digital media, film, and printmaking, she seeks to highlight the unique features that make up an individual's identity. She visualizes photos as moments in time, and these then-present moments are the different chapters in one's story. She has been an active artist in Cleveland for about 5 years exhibiting in group and solo shows, as well as completing residencies to expand her work and process. When she is not making work she is an art educator teaching photography and alternative process.

DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER, THIS PROGRAM HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR MAY 27, 12-4PM.

Facilitated by artist Aja Joi Grant and moCa's Community Engagement & Education Coordinator, Bobbi Reagins, this program will take place at moCa and is free and open to those of all ages.

If you have questions or if there are  access services or accommodations that can make your experience more inclusive, please contact lleving@mocacleveland.org. 1-2 week’s advance notice is recommended but not required.
