2ND ANNUAL PROJECT MOCA.
This experimental runway event, based loosely on the reality TV show Project Runway, will feature new looks inspired by MOCA's current exhibitions by students from Cleveland Institute of Art, Kent State University, and Virginia Marti College. The competition requires selected students to create looks that consider the influence and interplay of cinema and performance on fashion and femininity. Each look must include an element of high contrast. These ambitious designs will be unveiled on April 19 to the audience and a panel of fashion experts, who will jury the designs and select one winner to receive a monetary award and public display of their work. New this year, the audience also will vote on a fan favorite, who will receive a special prize. Limited seating available; reserve your ticket today.
