Guided by intuition, Zoe McGuire creates surreal landscapes that merge the spiritual with the scientific. She converges elements from nature and mysticism to explore the symbiotic relationship of ecosystems, including phenomena that lie beyond our vision. McGuire’s first and impressive foray into screen printing, Red Extension melds organic forms like sun rays, tree trunks, and flowing water with sacred geometry and allusive markings. Its rich ink application creates a soft, seductive surface that draws you into its exploration of nature’s intrinsic connectivity and balance.
