Axis Mundo: Queer Networks in Chicano L.A.
Kick off moCa's new season by celebrating with us and the artists at our exhibition opening! Exhibitions include Nina Chanel Abney: Big Butch Synergy, Sam Falls: We are Dust and Shadow, Amber N. Ford: Someone, Somewhere, Something, and a solo presentation of work by Bruno Casiano, which marks the beginning of our institutional residence with Julia de Burgos Cultural Arts Center.
DJ Red-I will be performing throughout the evening. From 7:30-8:30PM, Sam Falls will be in conversation with David Raskin, the Mohn Family Professor of Contemporary Art History at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. This will be live-captioned.
If you have questions or if there are additional access services or accommodations that can make your experience more inclusive, please contact lleving@mocacleveland.org. 1-2 week’s advance notice is recommended but not required.
