Teen Takeover at MOCA: Creative Response Contest

February 17, 2017 / 6:00pm

FREE for High School Students | FREE Pizza + Snacks

MOCA wants to hear your voice. This Friday, bring your friends to the Museum to see and talk about art that deals with identity and history. After considering how the photography, collage, videos, and sculpture relate to your ideas and experiences, get hands-on with art supplies to turn your ideas in actions!  We want to see your “creative responses” (also called art interpretation activities) and how they could help all visitors to see the art through your eyes.

Submit your “creative response activity” for a chance to have it featured in MOCA’s Learning Labs. Winning activities will debut during MOCA’s First Free Saturday on  March 3. The first-place winner will receive a Black-and-white Film Basics/Darkroom Workshop at the Cleveland Print Room.

No experience necessary. Bring your creativity, openness, and friends!
