The Skin She Lives In: The Sculpture of Ursula von Rydingsvard
Free and open to the public

Skin contains, conveys, and creates our being in the world. French psychoanalyst Didier Anzieu reminds us that our human skin is the envelope to the body, transferring sensory knowledge between inside and out. Join distinguished scholar Dr. Vera Camden (Kent State University) for a discussion of how Ursula von Rydingsvard’s sculptures probe the paradoxes of what Anzieu calls the “skin-ego.”
